Agricultural and pastoral production
The people in China began agricultural cities in about 2200 B.C.E.
The crops grown here were rice and other types of vegetables.
Up in the steppeland area, nomads were able to bring herds and feed them of the land.
Trade and Commerce
Metal was very valuable for the Chinese, thus they traded with whatever they had, to
obtain this precious metal. They also traded with obsidian and jade for crops or tools.
Labor Systems
Many Chinese were under the influence that the emperor was a son of a god.
Because of this idea, they worked hard to pay tribute to the emperor.
Many Chinese worked in the field, using tools that were constructed out of wood or
obsidian. With the introduction of metal, they were able to be more sufficient.
Industrialization
With the find of iron and copper ore, China was able to use them for their own needs.
Iron and Copper metallurgy was an extremely valuable trade.
With the introduction of iron and copper ore, the Chinese of this time were able to use it
for agricultural and warfare porpuses.
